The photos were taken by an XDA member who was able to get his hands on the device. After toting the prototype around, he says that the back is made of glass, which means it might support wireless charging. A Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform drives this particular unit, which carries 4GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage. And yes, there is a notch at the top of the screen.

The images show that Google will apparently be sticking with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a single camera for the Pixel 3 XL. There are some small cosmetic changes. For example, the SIM card tray has been moved from the left side of the phone to the bottom, next to the Type-C port. The volume and the power buttons remain on the right side of the phone.

We expect the third-generation models to be unveiled in October. That is only four months away.
